Welcome to the Virtual Faculty Lounge for Beginning Teachers and Mentors

The Virtual Faculty Lounge is the place to come for information, support, guidance, and, of course, just chatting and visiting. It is designed to provide many of the same functions as a traditional faculty lounge. But the Virtual Faculty Lounge has additional features. This lounge is virtual and is thus accessible at any time from any location. You can access it at any time and from any location. This lounge is also designed primarily for teachers who are in the initial stages of their teaching careers. It supports the work of the Metro Atlanta Beginning Teacher Support and Induction Consortium and so the activities of the lounge will focus on concerns and interests of teachers in the project.
