This monograph consists of interviews with parents who have children with a wide range of disabilities, including deafb lindness. Each chapter presents each parent's story and perspective on finding out about their child's disability, encounters with medical services, early intervention experiences, school experiences, the IEP process, and desirable teacher traits.
