Ask The Expert
Welcome to the "Ask the Expert" section of this website. The purpose
of this site is to give you an avenue to ask specific questions pertaining
to your daily needs as a teacher of students who are deaf and hard of
hearing. Your questions will be addressed in several ways:
1. You have the option of submitting your question to the listserv.
To join the listserv, go back to the main page and scroll down the list
on the left. Open this page. You will receive instructions on how to
join.
2. Go to the Frequently Asked Questions section. Find the category
in which your question fits. Click open the page. Send and e-mail to
the person who has written the information in this category.
3. Ask me and I will do my best to answer you. Please send an e-mail
to: seasterbrooks@gsu.edu.
If I do not have the answer, I will forward the questions to an expert
known to me.
4. Respond to the inquirer. Some questions will be of a more personal
nature. If you do not want your question or answer shared with others,
indicate so in your e-mail and I will answer you directly.
5. Consult the "Ask the Expert" section on the website of the Council
on Education of the Deaf. http://www.deafed.net
Please use this resource often, and please tell your friends about this
new and developing website. As always, we invite teachers to self-disclose
their names, places of employment, type of teaching load, and e-mail address.
Sincerely,
Susan R. Easterbrooks,
