DREAMS Summer Institute 2014

The Alonzo A. Crim Center for Urban Educational Excellence’s annual DREAMS (Developing Relationships to Enhance All Mentee’s School Success) Summer Institute, a free program for metro-Atlanta rising 10th, 11th and 12th grade students, will be held June 9-July 25, 2014, in the College of Education & Human Development (30 Pryor St., Atlanta).

Over the course of seven weeks, the institute will focus on developing relationships and promoting social competency. Students will also participate in sessions on:

  • Strengthening math fundamentals
  • Cultural awareness
  • Robotics and engineering
  • Creative thinking and writing
  • Forming a cultural and social identity
