Debra Schober-Peterson is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in Communication Disorders. She teaches courses in the areas of language development, language disorders, diagnostic methods, and speech sound disorders. She also supervises students in on-campus and off-campus clinical experiences. Her research interests include phonological development, pragmatic language disorders, early intervention for children with language disorders, and clinical supervision.

Dr. Schober-Peterson is the Director of the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic at Georgia State University. The Clinic provides evaluation and therapy services in language disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, and hearing disorders to the University and Atlanta community. Dr. Schober-Peterson also frequently consults with speech-language pathologists in the community and provides in-services to school systems and consortiums.

Dr. Schober Peterson has over 20 years of experience working with children and adults with speech and language impairments. She especially enjoys working with toddlers and preschoolers with language and speech sound disorders.
