Major Areas of Interest
My areas of interest are voice, swallowing and neurogenic communication disorders.  I am specifically interested in professional vocalists, including orators, broadcasters, and singers.  My research focuses on the effects of velar movement on the resonance characteristics of singers and exploring the effectiveness and safety of using transcutaneous electrical stimulation to treat voice disorders.
