Graduate Admissions

Application Process

The College of Education uses an online application for all of its graduate programs. By clicking on the Embark icon below the online application can be accessed. A self-managed application process is used for admission to the graduate programs. For more information on the application process check here. It is the applicant’s responsibility to prepare and collect all needed application materials in one packet (except the online application which is submitted separately from all other paper materials). The completed application packet should be returned to:

Transient Student Application (request to be a visiting student)

Visiting students in good standing at their home institutions can apply as a graduate transient student in the College of Education. Theymust download and complete the COE Graduate Transient Application below.

    Application Status

    Applicants may check the status of their applications approximately 2-3 weeks following submission of the online application and supporting materials at https://www.gosolar.gsu.edu/webforstudent.htm

    Undergraduate Admissions

    To apply for Undergraduate Programs in the College of Education, you will need to contact the Georgia State University Office of Admissions. The GSU Office of Admissions has an online application, and can provide specific information for freshman, transient, and undergraduate international students.

    Additional Assistance

    The College of Education provides the Office of Academic Assistance and Graduate Admissions for the benefit of its applicants and students. The office offers prospective and current students help in advisement and information about applying to the programs of study in the College of Education.
