Bio:

Sarah Bridges-Rhoads works with preservice teachers in the areas of literacy and language education and ESOL. Her research uses critical and poststructural theories to explore the ways in which language produces the world and affects possibilities for social change.   She studies how qualitative researchers, teacher educators, and literacy teachers conceptualize writing as a method of inquiry in the postmodern age and explores how non-conventional forms for academic texts enable the examination of cultural categories and subjectivity.
