Bio

Dr. Kesner has worked as an early childhood educator, elementary school teacher, and director of an after school program. Currently, he teaches child development in the Department's undergraduate program and is the director of the Saturday School For Scholars and Leaders, an educational enrichment program for gifted children. His research focuses on family violence, child-parent and child-teacher relationships. He has published in the Journal of Family Violence, Journal of School Psychology, Social Work in Education, The Reading Teacher, and The Journal of Early Education and Family Review.
