Mrs. Donna Bennett is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Early Childhood Education. As an elementary school principal, Mrs. Bennett consistently led a Title I school to distinguished levels of excellence. Teacher Development, Teacher Recruitment and Induction, Charter Schools, School Wide Enrichment Models, and Parent Involvement continue to be areas of focus in school improvement for Mrs. Bennett.
Mrs. Bennett’s coursework concentration is classroom management and field supervision, as well as diversity education. As a school principal, she led a Professional Development School and now serves on the Georgia State Professional Development School Committee. She has taught undergraduate courses at Nesbit Elementary, a Georgia State Professional Development School.
