Bio

Julie Rainer Dangel is an associate professor in Early Childhood Education at Georgia State University and currently coordinates the doctoral program in early childhood.  She has taught kindergarten and directed national child-care centers.  Her research interests include teacher development and constructivist theories.

 

She has published articles in a variety of journals including The Journal of Teacher Education, Teaching and Teacher Education and Policy and Practice in Education and co-edited the ATE Yearbook on Research in Teacher Education.  She is currently president of the Association for Constructivist Teaching.
