Bio

Professional experience includes work as a classroom teacher both in elementary and middle school. She has taught reading and literacy in small group settings, and also served as a Reading Recovery® teacher. Before coming to GSU, she held the position of Literacy Collaborative coordinator at two of the elementary schools affiliated with the Literacy Collaborative project.

 Ms. King has provided staff development in the area of early literacy through workshops locally, and at professional conferences. She is continuing her education currently by doing post-graduate work through the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
