2007 College web site Redesign in Progress

The College of Education's website along with the departmental websites are under redesign. The first phase has been completed. If you have not looked lately go to http://education.gsu.edu to see the new College site. Over the next year you will see a change in the COE departmental web sites as an on going redesign project to give all the sites a similar look and feel is accomplished.

Summer 2007 GSU gets new Phone Numbers

Currently there is a campus wide project to install a new phone system at GSU.  All campus phone numbers will change. No longer will 651 be the prefix for GSU phones. The new prefix will be 413. The GSU Phone Project is set to go active with the new numbers July of 2007. The College will be posting a website with the new assigned numbers for faculty and staff by the beginning of April 2007.

GRA Positions Available!

GRA positions are a great way for you to gain experience in working with Georgia State faculty and staff, they are also a great way for you to have your tuition waived and earn a little extra cash.  A web page has been created to advertise current positions.  Please take a moment to go to the page and apply for any that might interest you.  The address of the page is http://education.gsu.edu/doctoralfellows/gra.htm

Travel for COE Doctoral Students

There is a limited amount of travel funds available for College of Education Doctoral Students. If you are attending or presenting at conference and would like to make use of the funds, your will need to do the following:

Deliver these materials to the Dean's Office, 10th floor COE

Funding is available on first come, first served basis. The maximum funding per conference is $150. The maximum number of conferences that will be funded per student for this year is 2.

Note: Funding requests are subject to approval by the student fee advisory committee.
