In 2001, the Division for Children's Communication Development became the Division for Communicative Disabilities and Deafness of the Council for Exceptional Children . DCDD's re-titled journal, Communication Disorders Quarterly, its newsletter, New Times, its listserv, and its web site provide division members with information about the division and its activities. Constitution, and By-laws This section of the
website contains the most current version of the DCDD mission, constitution,
and by-laws.Information for Members/Expert Bank This is the most active location on the DCDD website. It contains current information about Division activities. For example, a list of "Tools and Materials Available" for communication assessment is found here. Also available is an Expert Bank, which links you to content area experts ready to answer your questions. Division Leadership This section provides contact information for the current division leadership. Committees DCDD has four constituent committees, three standing committees, and ad hoc committees. This section links you to the various committees, their members, and their activities. Publications and Media This section takes you to information from DCDD's Publications Board regarding its journal, newsletter, website, and discussion list. Becoming a Member This section provides you with information on member features and benefits and on becoming a member as well as providing easy access to initiating or updating your membership on-line. Discussion List This site provides you with an easy way to become a member of DCDD's discussion list. Important Division information is shared routinely with discussion list members. |
