Assessment:

The curriculum plan includes instructional units with objectives stated in behavioral terms that are reflective of the depth and breadth of the content and of the level of student performance expected. The instructional units and learning experiences facilitate the ability of the student to interact effectively in all environments. The curriculum integrates the psychomotor, cognitive and affective skills necessary for the student to function efficiently and effectively within the clinic.

The ongoing process of assessment includes information that is collected and evaluated on a regular basis utilizing multiple sources.

The curriculum is assessed by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). CAPTE requires that learning experiences lead to initial practice of the profession of physical therapy.
