The Center promotes the exchange of information and resources by:

• Publishing professional research articles, books, papers, and presentations.
• Conducting workshops, seminars, and teleconferences.
• Moderating the National Institute for Literacy's Women and Literacy Listserv.
• Organizing an International Women and Literacy Conference.
• Providing technical assistance to adult literacy providers.
• Maintaining a Resource Room of materials relating to adult literacy.
  The Resource Room includes reference books, research articles, instructional guides and materials, and video tapes related to adult literacy.
