The Department of Counseling and Psychological Services ranked 31st in a 2004 study by the American Psychological Association which ranked the faculty in school psychology programs that had the strongest article publication record from 1995-1999.
- Faculty receives award
Sean Reyes has received two awards from the Georgia Rehabilitation Association for “Professional Achievement” and “Distinguished Service,” respectively.
- CPS Faculty acts as speaker at conference
Roger Weed was a speaker on ethics in forensic rehabilitation at the Professional Rehabilitation Suppliers of Georgia conference on Jan. 19.
- CPS Faculty co-authored 2 articles
Ken Matheny and Jeff Ashby co-authored two articles for the Winter 2005 issue of the Journal of Individual Psychology. The two articles are: “Gender differences in stress, coping and illness among college students” and “Introduction to Special Issue.” They also wrote “Lifestyles, coping resources, and negative life events as predictors of emotional distress in university women” for the same issue with other authors, including Bill Curlette (EPS).
