CEHD Study Abroad Fair set for Nov. 5

The College of Education and Human Development’s Office of International Programs will host its 2015 Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 12-3 p.m. in the CEHD lobby.

At the fair – held in conjunction with Georgia State University’s celebration of International Education Week – attendees will learn more about the college’s study abroad programs and have the opportunity to talk with faculty and students about their study abroad experiences and learn how international travel has made a difference in their lives.

“Participating in a study abroad experience can be a life-changing event for our students,” said Catharina Chang, director of the college’s international programs. “They not only get to experience a different culture, but also learn so much more about themselves. Attending our Study Abroad Fair is an excellent way to learn about all the varied opportunities for our students to engage in a global experience.”

The college’s Office of International Programs is dedicated to coordinating, supporting and facilitating Georgia State University’s goal of internationalizing its academic activities and establishing sustained international relationships. Through teaching, research and service opportunities, it supports faculty and students as they become globally competent citizens and leaders.
