Make Your Move: Exploring Careers in Teaching @ CEHD first floor lobby
Feb 18 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

The College of Education and Human Development invites undergraduate students graduating this year to attend an information session exploring careers in teaching.

Attendees are invited to eat pizza, learn more about the college’s graduate programs in teacher preparation, review information on scholarships and fellowships to cover graduate school costs and speak with faculty and students about their experiences in the classroom. Those who attend will also be eligible to receive a “golden ticket” to cover application costs for teacher preparation programs.

In particular, these information sessions will highlight the college’s Master of Arts in Teaching degree programs, which give students with undergraduate degrees in a variety of fields the skills they need to teach content areas – English, math, science, social studies, and health and physical education – in middle and high schools, teach elementary school or become special education teachers.

For more information about the sessions, contact Joyce Many, CEHD associate dean of undergraduate studies and educator preparation, at jmany@gsu.edu.
