Robert Noyce: Urban Mathematics Educator Program (UMEP)

The Robert Noyce: Urban Mathematics Educator Program (UMEP) is designed to increase the number of high-quality secondary mathematics teachers who are willing to teach and remain in urban school districts. The UMEP provides $10,000 stipends to students to pursue initial certification for secondary mathematics teaching through a Master's Degree program known as TEEMS at Georgia State University.

If you are interested in becoming a secondary mathematics teacher and would like to teach in the Atlanta Public Schools or DeKalb County Schools, you are encouraged to apply to the Robert Noyce Urban Mathematics Educator Program.

For details about the UMEP and the TEEMS program view all components of this website and the provided links.
