Project LEADERS
(Leaders in Exceptionalities Alternative and Delinquency-related Environments through Research and Scholarship)
Funding is available to support doctoral students who want to get their Ph.D. in Special Education with an emphasis on academics and mental health issues of students in alternative schools. The name of the project is Project LEADERS (Leaders in Exceptionalities Alternative and Delinquency-related Environments through Research and Scholarship). We are funded through the Federal Department of Education, Office of Special Education under grant H325D110030.
Project LEADERS is housed at Georgia State University in the College of Education and within the Department of Educational Psychology and Special Education and the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services. Annual financial support is up to $30,000. The total financial support is up to $175,000 over a five year period is available to each student.
