Georgia Bureau for Students with
Physical and Health Impairments

A Project Funded by the Georgia State Improvement Grant

The Bureau for Students with Physical and Health Impairments provides a series of statewide workshops each year on reading and writing strategies for students with orthopedic impairments. These workshops occur throughout the state of Georgia and target teachers of students with orthopedic impairments (although other service providers and parents are welcome to attend). The two to three day workshop series is constructed so that the teacher will have time to implement the material between each workshop and receive on-site support as needed.  Additional training (including on-site consultation and technical assistance) is available throughout the year.

For more information contact the Bureau for Students with Physical & Health Impairments (see at the bottom of this page or your local GLRS to set up a training in your area (Click here to go to the GLRS website).
