Mentor Program

Georgia Bureau for Students with
Physical and Health Impairments

A Project Funded by the Georgia State Improvement Grant

The Mentor Program of the Georgia Bureau for Students with Physical and Health Impairments is designed to develop a network of special educators who are specifically trained in the areas of reading and writing instruction for students with orthopedic impairments. Currently, mentors are being trained in the areas of reading instruction and writing instruction for students with limited speech and/or orthopedic impairments. Mentors provide a resource to other teachers in their area. For more information about mentoring, contact the Georgia Bureau for Students with Physical and Health Impairments.
